Clarach is my favourite seaside place North of Aberystwyth. When I was somewhat younger I used to visit regularly, living only a couple of miles away. I’d amble up the the beach, inspect the rock pools, visit the cave and walk the coast paths, sometimes all the way over the hill into Aberystwyth. Sometimes I’d even go snorkelling there, which can be quite beautiful on a day when the tide is high and the sea is flat and clear! Later on I’d take my young son and his friends, and we still visit sometimes today, though we live further away now.
